The Torbay Volunteering Forum is for anyone who manages, works with or supports volunteers; and for anyone who promotes or supports volunteering. One of the vital elements of the forum has been embracing the skills and knowledge which members of Torbay's VCSE sector can provide.
Over time, as well as suggesting
the majority of the topics covered,
people from this sector have increasingly delivered more of
the workshops and sat on and led
more of the panel discussions. This is an opportunity for those people to develop and enhance skills around coaching, leadership and public speaking (among others), while at the same time helping to upskill and develop other organisations and groups.
